Hall, T. Slado, Coupland, Pratley, M'Cullough, and Peach. I(s—Rimulafca, R.M.S., for Port Chalmers. W. J. WiUcook, agent. Passengers—Mrs. Gibbs and Captaiu Rose. The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera, Capt. W. 0. Sinclair, arrived from southern ports at nino o'clock yesterday morning. Ciho left Duucdin on Wednesday, called at Lyttelton on Thursday, and arrived at Wellington on Friday morning. Sho was delayed in Wellington till 3.30 p.m. on Saturday on account of the large quantity of cargo that had to be handled there. Mr. Munro, the purser for the present trip, reports experiencing iino weather right up the coast." The outward passengers were taken off to the Tarawera at 4 p.m., and the tteamer left the anchorage at S p.m. The a.s. Wairoa, leaves for Wairoa at midnight to-night. The X.M.S. JRimutafca etoamed for Port Chalmers at 5.20 this morning. From Port Chalmers sho,proceeds to Lyttelton, the latter being the port of departure for London. At this port sho loaded the following cargo :-■—2o4 bales wool, 34 casks pelts, 10,264 carcasses mutton, and 964 quarters beef. The Orpheus for Dunedin, and the Pendle Hill for Newcastle, are expected to sail tomorrow. The brigantiue Prosperity left Newcastle on Saturday with coals for Messrs Crauby and Prebble. The barque Notero is albo eablcd as having left fur JN'upier, but Messrs Crauby and Prebble have no advice regarding her. As she- belongs to an Auckland coal merchant, her destination may be tho latter port. The ship Zealandia arrived at Wellington from London yi tterday. Tho Te Anau arrived at the Bluff last eveuiug ironi Melbourne. No Napier passengers. The s.s. Baylcy left the Bluff for London yesterday afternoon. Captain W. Ruth, who hns been appointed to the raanagment of tho new fishiiiarket by the Auckland Harbor Board, is Very well and favorably known in shipping circles throughout the colony. For nine years lie commanded the clipper saip Helen J3erry, and conveyed many emigrants to Hawkes Bay. Being transferred to the Zealandia, he ran her with success for three years, leaving thi , service of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. to settle in New Zealand. After residing in iSapier for some time he went to Auckland, and purchased the island of Taratoroa, where he haa been engaged farming for tiie past threo years.
