A man named Michael Walsh has been arrested for presenting an unloaded pistol in tho street at Mr John Dillon, one of the League's delegates. The accused had previously threatened Mr Dillon. Walsh states tho League owes him £2000, tho value of some cattle distrained on by his landlord, the Marquis of Waterford. He had applied to Mr Dillon for the money without success.
