Passenger—Miss Chamberlain. . 12 Kahu, s.s , from Wellington t-trt coast stations. Richardson and Co., agents. Passenger—Mr. Murray. 12—-Rimutaka, R.M.S., from Wellington. W. J. Willoocks, agent. Passengers—Mrs Livingstone and child; Messrs N. Shute, Ahem, Usley (2), aud Pope. DEPARTURES. September. 11—Fairy, s.s., for Gisborne. Richardson and Co., agents. Tho Wairoa leave 3 for Wairoa at midnight to-night. Tho Union Company's s.s. Australia arrived from Wellington at nine o'clock last night, and was brought inside at once by Pilot Kraeft. She left Wellington at 5.20 p.m. on Tuesday, and experienced a strong north-westerly gale on tho passage up. The Australia brought a large cargo, consisting principally of transhipments ex Rimutaka and Cairntoul. The Australia steams for northern ports at 4 p.m. this afternoon. The s.s. Kiwi, from Wellington, arrived in the bay a little before midnight last night, and was breught inside early this morning. She returns to Wellington this afternoon. The s.s. Kahu, arrived from Wellington via coast stations at 3.30 a.m. to-day. She leaves for Wellington again this evening. The s.s. Fairy steamed for Gisborno yesterday afternoon. The 8.8. Southern Cross should arrive from Gisborne early to-morrow morning. She leaves for Wellington at 10 a.m. The N.Z. Shipping Co.'s R.M.S. Rimutaka, Captain Greenstreet, arrived from Wellington at 10 a.m. this morning. As already reported in our telegram, she arrived in Wellington on Sunday from London, and she left Wellington at 5.20 p.m. yesterday. The officers on board are the same as when she last visited this port. She leaves for Port Chalmers on Monday. In addition to the frozen meat, she will take about 200 bales wool from here.
