Football.
The cup football match that was to havo been played on the Recreation Ground this afternoon between the Pirates Second and the Meanee did not come off, owing to the inability of the Meanee Club to raise a team, and tho match consequently goes by default to the Pirates.
Now to bo sold, a lot of odds and ends of carpets, mattings, linoleum, and floorcloth at clearing prices. See Neal and Close's carpet room.
