In the case of duplicates that may have been sent by the lonic, the post office will dispose of them in any way senders may desire. Rose Donovan, who, in her absence, was | vesterdaj sentenced to a month's imprisonment for using obscene language at Taradale, was run to earth to-day. She was found driving a horse and cart in Tennyson street, but she did not surrender without a struggle. A policeman, accompanied by the Sergeant, tried to take the woman to prison, but she kept possession of the reins _nd managed to get the best pace out of her quadruped. Tho constable pluckily .scrambled into the trap, but his trouble was not over, for failing tho wbip-which, fortunately, she was not possessed of—Kose made good work with an old horse shoe. The Sergeant then found accommodation in tho vehicle, and seizing the woman m his arms the constable succeeded in getting the trap to the look-up, and Rose was incarcerated.
