The final meeting of the old committee was held last evening, when there were present Captain Russell (in the chair), Messrs Maddison, Bei.jamin, "George, and Collinge. The usual formal business was gnna through, and fchp report approved of At the annual meeting of householders there was a fair attendance. Captain Russell was voted to tho chair. The secretary read his annual report, which was adopted, the Chairman, referring to the very capable way in which the place of head master is filled by Mr. Cuthbert. The following committee were elected : — Captain Russell, and Messrs Collinge, Wright, Beiiby, Maddison, George, and Beecroft.
At a committee meeting held afterwards Captain Russell was elected chairman, and Mr. Beilby undertook the duties of hou. secretary.
