M.L.C. ENGAGES IN A STREET FIGHT.

The Hon. Mr Swanson, M.L.C., nnd Henry Cannop, wore charged under the Police Oiienccs Act, with fighting in Queen street on the sth inxt. They were lined 40.s earh and costs. The affair arose out of Connop accusing Swanson of taking £200 a year of public money. Blows wore exchanged. A lady stepped between the combatants, and two policemen who witnessed the affray made a case of it.
