The Union Company's s.b. Maitai whs unable to complete her discharge last night, and in consequence did not leave as advertised. She will steam for Westpoit direct nt 2.30 p.m. to-day. The s.s. Kahu was to havo left tho Oh'athama on Saturday, and should havo reached Lyttolton this morning. She should reach hero about tho end of the week. _ i Tho schooner Bio has finished discharging her cargo of coal, and commenced her timber loading this morning. Tho s.s. Wairoa steamed for Wairoa at iin early hour this morriing, and reached there at 7 a.m. She is to make a special trip to Gisborno on Friday next with a team of footballers.

The h.8. : Suva is a day late in coining up the coasi this week, and will consequently notreach here until Thursday. The s.s. Kiwi is due from southern ports early to-morrow morning, having left Wellington yestirday afternoon for here fie ceaat stations. The s.s. Australia leaves Auckland this afternoon, and should arrive here early on Friday morning. The Rimutaka arrived at Hobnrt at 7 a.m. this morning.
