MEETING OF N.S.W. OPPOSITION.
Sydnky, This day. A meeting of the Opposition will be held shortly to consider the position and the prospects of re-organising the party. The action of the leader of Ihe Opposition in proposing a motion of censure on the Government without first consulting the majority of the party will probably bo discussed at the meeting; CUMBERLAND DISEASE. The Government have decided to obtain the views of the various provincial Stock Boards throughout the colony before taking any definite steps with M. Pasteur's vacoino far tift Cumberland disease. -.. TASMANIAN WHEAT YIELD. Hodabt, This day. The Tasmanian wheat yield is 673,981 bushels, being an increase in the acreage and total yield, but it is a decrease of 1.20 on the average.
SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ELECTION.
Adelaide, This day. Messrs Darling and Cloughley have been elected members of the Legislative Assembly for tho Northern district.
