A UNIQUE GATHERING.

There was quite a unique gathering at the anniversary service.-; of the Wesleyan Cliurch last niifht. Fourteen 'elderly.ladies and gentlemen «»!: down to a table whose united ages totalled over one thousand years. Seven arrived iv the colony in the year 1-I_. The ages of out- married couple totalled 152, another 1-I '.), and another HI years. The oldest member of the gathering was 82 years. The Rev. Mr Bull, late of Auckland, 'received a heart v welcome from the Wesleyan congregation "last night, tho Anglican, Presbyterian, Salvation Army, aud .Maori missions, being all represented by the heads of the denomination.
