A noveltyfe the way of the winter game is to be presented to the public, on the Reoreation Gjound on Saturday afternoon next, when the Pirates Football Club will ' open their season with a oostume match. Sides will bo chosen from the members of the club, and altogether a good afternoon's amusement is promised. There will be clowns, niggers, Scotchmen, mashers, Irishmen, Chinese-Scandinavians, Irish-Ger-mans, French-Napierians, and goodness knows what else; one thing is certaincolor will not bo wanting, and all prizebulls are requested to keep at a distance. Given fine weather, tho Pirates' enterprise should meet with a rich reward iv the matter of a good attendance of the public.
