SLAIN WITH A STONE.
No one can read tho story of tho youthful David, with his .simple sling and stones from the brook, going out" to meet the boastful Goliath in the presence of two armies and destroying him, without a thrill of admiration at his braveiy and powess. And yet smaller stones than David used to despatch the giant have since silently slain thousands. The Rev. N. Pattmsou, of Rochester, Victoria, suffered for tlu'ee years from stone in the bladder, says his life was becoming une of misery, uml he had thought seriously of giving up tbe work of tho ministry, when fortunately Warner's safe cure was brought undor his notice by a clerical friend, the Rev. S. P. Webber, and he took the medicine with such good result* that a stone was past-ed away, and a speedy restoration to health followed. Mr W. F. Davies, of 5 Koniioway Ten-ace, Ruse Street, Burlington. Sydney, N.S.W., suffered more or less with stone in the bladder fur 11 years. Last December an operation wt-s performed on him, for crush-
ing tho stone, and for tho succeeding two months he was confined to his bed, and in a condition more dead than alive, and gave up all hope of recovery. At this time he was recommended to try Warner's safe cure and Warner's safe pills. He did so, and after taking nine bottles, which eliminated large quantities of gritty matter, he entirely recovered ; gained three stone in weight, and is to-day a living monument to the efficacy of tho" medicines mentioned. Mr Samuel Hosking," of Gill Street, Charters Towers, Q., was also cured of a sovoro attack of gravel with Warner's safe cure. Such testimony is beyond controversy. The gentlemen mentioned will gladly verify every statement we have made.
