"VfOTICE is hereby given that i Special 1* Meeting of the Hawke's Bay County Council TV-ill beheld on MONDAY, the 20th day of February, ISBS, at 12 o'clock noon, at the old Provincial Council Chambers, Nnpier, to consider the following proposal: '' Resolved that it be a Special Order of the Hawke's Bay County Council that the boundary of the Meanee Road Board be as follows :— DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES OF MEANEE ROAD BOAKD. Commencing at the mouth of the Tutackuri River, thence bounded on the north by the edge of the Ahuriri Harbor to the north-west corner of the Meauee suburban sections ; thence following , the western boundaries of the Meanee suburban sections in a southerly direction to the south-west corner of suburban section 60 ; thence along the southern boundary line of the said section No. GO, produced to the- east side of Church-road : thence along Church-road in a northerly direction to ttio south-west corner of section 57 ; theuce following the southern boundaries of sections Nos. .57 and 44, Meanee, to the Napier-Taradale-road ; thenco bounded on the south-east by tho north side of the said road to suburban section 35, Meanee ; thence bounded on the south-east by tho western boundary of suburban section 35 ; thrnce bounded on the south-west by the north-east boundaries of section 35 and 30, Meanee to the Purinm Creek; thenco bounded on tho north-west by the Purinm Creek to where it crosses the western boundary line of suburban section No. 36, Meanee ; thence bounded on tho north-west by suburban sections 3.3 and 37 across a road, nud by suburban section 17, Meanee, and by the "eastern boundary line nf the last-named section produced to the Putaekuri River; thence following the western bank of the said river to the commencing point. The Council may by a resolution passed at any general or extraordinary meeting cause a notice in writing to be upon the owner or occupier of any premises, either by posting the sumo to him ar by personal service, or Ly affixing such notice to some conspicuous part of the Kiid premises calling upon him to remove, destroy, and abolish any cesspit or cesspool which may exist on such promises within one month* from tho date of service of the notice, and in default, thereof the Council may remove, destroy, and abolish such cesspit or cesspool, and the expense thereby incurred sh:ill bo recoverable by the Council from such owner or oecupiei. 3 Tho Council may by a resolution passed at any General or Extraordinary meeting cause a. notice in writing to be served upon the owner or occupier of any premises either by posting the same to him or by persoual service, or by affixing siu'h notice to some conspicuous part of the said pi'emi«es. calling upon him to alter within one month from the date of the service of the notice any privy or privies on the said premises into an earth closet, with the pan system to the satisfaction of the Inspector of Nuisances of the Borough for the time being, or other authorised person, end in default thereof the Council may alter such privy or privies, and the expense thereby incurred fcbaU be recoverable by the Council from such owner or occupier.
