The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following 'cablegram from their Loudon office, dated 20th instant:—" Wool.—Competition is increasing, and quotations are on average nearly half-penny to one penny per lb better than at the opening for the following descriptions : Crossbred, good quality, light in grease ; crossbred, medium quality, light in grease ; long staple merino, light in grease. The American demand is good. Up to date 115,000 bales have been sold. Tallow.—Market- steady. Good mutton tallow is worth 23s 6d per cwt; good beef tallow is worth 21s 6d per cwt."

London, June 20. The Directors of the new Oriental Bank Corporation have declared a dividend at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum, and carried forward and placed to the reserve fund the Bum of £21,000. At to-day's wool auctions 11,200 bales were offered. A firm and active demand prevails for all descriptions.
