SUCCESS OF THE CELEBRATION,
NO ACCIDENTS REPORTED.

Everthing in connection with the Jubileo celebration passed off well. The harbors presented a brilliant sight. _ The warships and other vessels were illuminated, and there was a grand display of firewords at several places. Tho steamers stationed at tho various points of vantage wore crammed with spectators. No accident has been reported

Doctor George Toague.the well-known hoiuccopathist, died, to-day from'"the effects of a buggy accident. ;
Difficulties of various kinds continue to exist, which make trado very dull. Nenl and Close are compelled to reduce stock, and offer blankets, rugs, caqiots, linoleums, and floorcloth very cheap. Remnants of, linoleum at half-price. Inspection invited.
