[PEES 3 ASSOCIATION SP-ECIALS. —COPYEIGHT.] London, June 18. Brilliant weather is being experienced for the wheat market. The collapse of tho comer, has, however, caused a cessation in trade. The Continental demand is still disorganised, but owing to the market clique prices arc well maintained. In California high rates are asked. There aro large arrivals from tho Australian colony, and several cargoes ou the passage arc expected. United Kingdom cargoes are unusually email. Australian on the spot (new) is realising 365, and (odd) 375; cargoes to London direct 34s Gd. Two off coast cargoes have been sold at 3")s Gd. At the wool sales to-day merinos and fine crossbreds have recovered from their previous decline. Tho inferior crossbreds arc, however, still a halfpenny below previous rates. In manufacturing districts trade has improved, and foreign buyers are extremely active. At the wool sales 123,000 bales have boon catalogued, 7700 being withdrawn for the manufacturing districts. At to-day's wool sales 10400 bales were offered. The market is flat. New Zealand prime frozen mutton has declined to 3|d to 4d per lb. Thereis no change to report in hrcadstuffs. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,740,000 quarters, and for Continent 74,800. Australian tallow, average quality beef, • 22s 6d ; mutton 245. June 20. At Satiu-day's wool sales 10,700 bales were offered. The market is firm. Sydney, June 18. New Zealand wheat is quoted at 3s to 3s 9d New Zealand oats, Is 9d to 2s 3d market glutted; maize 3s 3d; potatoes 50s. Adelaide, June 18. Wheat is unchanged at 4s 2d to 4s 3d; flour town brands, £9 15s to £10 ; country brands, £8 10s to £8 Iss.
