Messrs 0. B. Hoadloy and Co. report as follows :—Yesterday morning l wo held our sale of skins, &c, at our Spit stores. There was a full attendance of buyers, and prices throughout ruled satisfactorily, although if compared with previous sales they may not appear so high, which is accounted for by most lots being , more or less* damp, and hence of greater weight. Onr catalogue, consisted of 3219 sheepskins; 33 bales of scoured and gTeasy wool, besides oddments; 38 hides and calf-skins;; aud 7 packages of tallow, which were all quitted at following prices: — Sheepskins. — Crossbred, good, 4jjd to o|d ' per; lb; medium, 2i-d to 3:|d. Merino, good, 4d to 5-Jd; medium, 2£d to 3£d; pelts,, l|d. One fine, parcel of half-bred sking realised. Gd , ' per , lb.' Green skins 2s Sd each. Wool.—P, 1 bata scoured pieces Ud ; DICP over B and A, 1 ! hale Lincoln scoured Is, 1 , bale, scoured locks 9d, ■ 2 do scoured pieces 7d, 1 do scoured locks 6jd ;' 'half circle over SMC, 1 pocket scoured merino Is Ojd; OLRIG-, 4 bales half-bred locks' 2sd ; half circle over cross, 1 do merino sd, 1 do crossbred 4d, r do pieces 2Ad; W and F over LONGLANDS, 1 "do lambs 5Jd; D, Ido dead ■wool 4d, 1 do locks and pieces 3jjd; cross over W, 2do crossbred ; cross over 0, 7do daggings 3'|d : , 1 do'locks 2fd; shield over 1, 3 do daggings 3|d ; shield over 2,; 3 do do 3id, 1 dump locks 2£d, l hag. crossbred 3d.
