The annual meeting of the H.B. Agricultural and Pastoral Society will bo held at 11 a.m. to-morrow.

Mr T. S. M'Lean will lecturo at the Athenreum this evening on "Hard Times, Their Cause and Cure."

H. P. Cohen announces a great oleariiigout sale at the Little Dust Pan.

Annual Licensing Committee meeting for the Borough of Napier will be held tomorrow at noon.

, Nominations for the H.B. Coursing Club's June meeting close to-morrow. Meeting of the H.B. Philosophical Institute will be held on Monday, at 8 p.m. Ladies' handbags at Carter and Co.'s. .R. Hannah and Co. insert a business advertisement.

The train usually leaving Napier for Hasting at 6.50 p.m. will to-morrow leave at 5.50 p.m, and a special train will leave Hastings at 6.50 p.m, returning fifteen minutes after the performance by the Sock and Buskin Society at the Theatre Royal.
