The s.s. Bella made a trip to Clive yesterday afternoon. The Union Company's s.s. Wairarapa, 1786 tons, Captain H. W. H. Chatfield, arrived from Sydney cwMoi them ports this morning. The following is a report of her passage kindly furnished by Mr H. C. Taylor, her purser : —left Sydney -wharf at 4.30 p.m on April 28th, was abreast of Three Kings at 12.0 noon on May 2nd, North Capo at 4.15 p.m. same day, Tiri Tiri at 7*o a.m. on 3rd, and arrived at Auckland at 8.15 a.m. on 3rd ; left at 12.30 p.m. the same day, and arrived at Gisbome at 1 p.m. on the Oth ; left at 8 p.m. the same dsy, and arrived hero at 5 a.m. on the 6th. Experienced light westerly winds ■with fine weather from Sydney to Auckland, thence along the coaat fresh easterly and south-easterly winds with heavy swells. Her Jast launch, taking outward passengers for Melbourne and Southern ports,- left the wharf at 2 p.m. The s.s.' Kiwi, .'Captain Dicker, arrived from "Wellington late lust night and was berthed at the breastwork, where she is discharging a quantity of cargo. We are glad to learn that Captain Campbell is fast recovering , , and expects to resume his command next trip. The Kiwi will steam for Wellington via the coast this evening. The s.s. Go-ahead, Captain Plumley, got here at last at an early hour this morning •with a full general cargo from all southern ports. She returns to Wellington to-night.

The Union Company's s.s. Waihora 2003 tons, Captain T. Popham, arrived in the roadstead at 11.40 a.m. to-day, and will proceed northwards as far as Russell this evening , . The last launch leaving the ■wharf at 6 p.m; The following is a report of her passage:—Left Melbourne at 6 p.m. on tho 27th lilt., and reached the Bluff at 7 a.m. on 3rd,- Dunedin at 7 a.m. on tho 4th, Lyttelton at 8.30 a.m. on sth, and Wellington at 8 a.m. on 6th, left the latter port at 6;15 p.m. yesterday, and arrived as above. Experienced light 'winds and moderate sea along the coast. ' The following report of the Ohau, kindly furnished by her obliging purser, M_r Waldie, was received too late for our yestierday's issue. Left Dunedin at 10 p.m. on the Ist, called at Oamaru, Timaru, I,yttelton, and Wellington, leaving the latt.or port 3.30 p.m. on tho sth, and arrived In 'roadstead at 1.20 p.m. on tho Gth ; had strong southern gales and high sea to Wellington from Lyttelton, thence south and west winds to Napier.' Passengers, saloon—Mr Ashley, Masters Neill, McLean, and Williams. She is the bearer of 225_ tons of cargo for this port, and is now discharging at the breastwork. • The Ohau 1 will resume her voyage for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland at 6 p.m. to-day. The s.s. Australia, Captain Crawshaw, sailed for Wellington at 6 o'clock last night. The Rio, Captain Dunn, got away for Auckland this morning. She was towed out by the Result.
