IN consequence of the Government having called attention to the non-compliance of the Special Order passed on the 7th day lof April inst. with the conditions of the ; " Local Bodies Finance Act, 1886," Ihereby [give notice that a Special Meeting of the Board will beheld at 4 p.m. on WEDNES- : DAY, the 4th day of May proximo, when-'I shall move— Ist. Clive Road Board, Special Order.— t That for the purpose of securing the interest and sinking fund upon a loan of £3000, to be borrowed by the Road Board nnder the provisions of the " Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," for defraying the expense of constructing a road from the Tuki Tuki Bridge to Mr Loughnac's Tuki Tuki station, a special rate of three-tenths (3-10ths) of a penny in the £ (pound} be made and levied upon all that portion ot the Clive Riding of the County of Hawke's Bay containing 28,838 acres or thereabouts, and comprising the Clifton, Grange, and Tuki Tuki estates and Sections 216 and 236, Clive, being the Tuki TuM Ward of the Clive Road Board district. Such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate for the period of 26 years from the Ist February, 1887, and shall be payable annually in advance on the Ist February in each year, commencing on Ist February, 1888. 3rd. That this Special Order be confirmed at a Special Meeting of the Clive Road Board to be held on WEDNESDAY, the Ist day of June, 1887, at 4 p.m. F.
