In consequence of the stoppage of all native land transactions by the new native land laws, the Company must place its lands and wind up_ its transactions. In order to enable it to do this terms never before offered are now named —lo per cent, cash, 10 per cent, at 12 months, the balance at 6 years (8 years in all) at 6 per cent, per annum. The Company's . properties have Land Transfer titles. There is no native title. Native lands cannot now bo acquired on any terms.
