\QYrX CORBESFONIMSHT,j Tins day. The Waipawa School Committee met last evening: Present: Messrs Bibby (chairman), Collett, Eccles, and McGr-eevy. _wo letters were read from the Education Board re quarter's cheque. The chairman explained that the quarter's cheque (€1» 6s) had gone astray, but another had been sent on the payment of the first being stopped. A letter was also read from the Board re Mr Worboys' appointment. Prom Mr R. Rush, stating his inability to be present at this He should have liked to explain to the Board that he knew nothing of the Act re members attendance, or he should not have attended the previous meeting. Stationery accounts £1 8s and £4 15s, also account for sweeping Bohool were passed for payment, on the motion of Mr Whittuigion, seconded by Mr Collett. Mr McGrcevy asked if it were not customary for a school report to bo made ■public monthly. The chairman stated it was merely optionial, and could be done if *he Committee wished. It was decided to let it stand over to the new Committee which ■would be elected next month.
