At a meeting of the S.G.J.C. last night the appointed to prepare a draft programme brought up their report. It was resolved that the annual race meeting be held on Thursday and Friday, April 28th and 29th. The following programme was adopted:—First Day.—Timaru Hurdle Race Handicap, 70 soys, distance about 2 miles; District Plate Handicap, of 40 soys, distance miles; Timaru Cup Handicap, of 140 soys, distance miles; Welter Handicap, of 25 soys, distance G furlongs; Selling Hack Eaco, of 10 Boys, 1 mile; Flying Handicap, .of 35 Boys, 6 furlongs. Second day — Hurdle Handicap Race, of 50 eovs, distaiiee l£ miles; Selling Race, of 35 sots, distance C furlongs; The "Winter Oats, a welter handicap of 40 soys, distance 1 mile ;. Selling Handicap nice, of 10 soys, distance 1 mile; consolation Handicap, of 25 soys, distance 1 mile. • '
