All objections thereto must be left at the SUPREME COURT BUILDING, Napier, on or before the 15th day of February next, addressed to the ASSESSMENT COURT; and a copy of every such objection must be left at the TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE not later than seven days before the next sitting of the said Court. BOROUGH OF NAPIER. NOTIFICATION OF NEW BY-LAW No. 29. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting , of the Borough Council held in the Council Chamber, Napier, on WEDNESDAY, the 19th January, 1887, the following BY-LAW numbered. 29, was adopted by a resolution of the Council by SPECIAL ORDER, and further that a copy of the said By-Law is now open for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk daily during the usual office hours. BY-LAW No. 29. That it be a Special Order of this Council that the following new By-Law No. 29 be adopted, and that it come into force on the Ist day of March, 18S7. 1. That Clause 8 of Section 10 of By-Law No. 28, be repealed, and that in lieu thereof it be enacted— 8. All buildings hereafter erected within the aforesaid districts shall have their external walls constructed, as under:— Within No. 1 District the whole of the external walls shall be of brick, stone, concrete, or other incombustible material, to be approved of by the Council, and if built of brick, stone, or concrete, it shall be of the thickness described in Schedule No. 2. Within No. 2 District, subject to the decision of the Council, the 'external wall of any buildings, if situate ■within 20 feet of any adjacent premises, must be of some incombustible material to be approved of by the Council. 2. That Clause 10 of Section 10 of ByLaw No. 28 be repealed, and that in lieu thereof it be enacted— 10. The external walls composed of wood or iron of any building already erected, may be repaired with the same material of which they are composed, provided, that such repairs extend only to the outer or inner lining of the original walls, and not to the studding or plates. 3. That the foregoing clauses be read as part of said section 10, and as if originally enacted as clauses 8 and 10 thereof respectively. NOTICE is also hereby given that ;a SPECIAL MEETING of the Borough Council will be held in the Council Chamber, Napier, at NOON on FRIDAY, the 18th day of February next, for the purpose of confirming the above Special Order, and that the said By-Law No. 29 will come into force on TUESDAY, the Ist March next.'
