A motion was mado that the company bo voluntarily wound up, but it was delayed for a fortnight to allow of full consideration. A crisis has arisen in the management of the Whau Lunatic Asylum, owing to a disagreement between Dr Cremonini, medical superintendent, and the staff. All the latter havo resigned, and Dr MacGregor, who has arrived from Wellington, has accepted tho resignation of Gcorgo Hardy, principal attendant, wno has been nineteen years in the asylum service. The other attendants are to leave on the 13th December, unless an understanding is arrived at. Dr MacGregor has gone to Eotorua, but will bo back in a few days. The staff included eight male warders, matron, and about a dozen femalo attendants. The elisputo is exciting a large amount of attention.
