The weekly returns of the Bank of England, jmblished to-day, show the proportion of the reserve to the liabilities to be 33 per cent. The total reserve in notes and bullion is £10,700,000, being £1,100,000 less than la3t week.

Scoured merinos realised 17 ; } d; greasy merinos of inferior qualities are lid to 2d higher than at the close of last season, and scoured merinos arc 3|d to 4d higher.
