Arrivals. October 7—Southern Cross, s.s., from Wellington.
Departures.
October. Frank Guy, three-masted schooner, for Westport. Tho Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross, CaDtain Spinks, arrived from Wellington atnoon to-day. She being tendered by the Boojura for passengers and cargo, and will resume her voyage northwards this afternoon. The three-masted schooner Frank Guy, Capt. Balle, sailed for Westport this morning in ballast, The Union Company's s.s. Australia is due here early to-morrow morning from North, and is expected to proceed to Wellington at 3 p.m. Tho s.s. Kiwi left Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday for here via the coast, and may be looked for to-morrow morning.
The brigantine Enterprise is leaving Dunedin for this port to-day. The Union Company's s.s. Manapouri leaves Auckland at noon to-day, and will call here on Saturday. The last launch, with her outward passengers for Melbourne via Southern ports, will leave the wharf at t p.m. The s.s. Kahu is posted on tho telegraph board to leave Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday. Sho should therefore get here some time th.3 evening. The s.s. Waihora is due here on Saturday forenoon from the South. She will proceed to Sydney via Northern ports in the evening, the last launch leaving tho wharf at 5 p.m. The Wairoa pilot report a bad bar.
