We think Napier is entitled to h Stipenniary Magistrate, whose whole service shall be devoted to the Court in this town. The bite was not considered serious by Mr Solomon at the time, but next day the hand and wrist commenced to swell, and finally the arm became swollen and the sufferer, at the request of friends, sought advice at the Hosviital, where Dr. Morrison, tho Resident Surgeon, pronounced tho case one of blood poisoning, and said serious consequences would probably ensue, This has beon tho case, for Mr Solomon died at a late hour last night. His body and his logs and arms were swollen to a considerable extent. Tho bite appeared anything but serious to the unfortunate man's friends, and the injury was considered one that other persons had frequently sustained without even inconvenience. Deceased was a strong healthy man, about thirty-six years of age, proprietor of a grocery store, and was unmarried."
