No entry will bo received for any race except upon tho condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising- out of the racing shall be settled by tho Stowards or whom they may appoint, and their decisions on all points shall bo final. All protests must bo accompanied with a deposit of 5 eovs., which sum shall bo forfeited if tho protest is not sustained. The rules and weights as adopted by tho Petane Racing Club will be strictly adhered to. Five per cent, will bo deducted from tho gross amount of nil stakes. Horses walking over will only roceivo 50 per cont. of tho stakes. "Hack" shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight-for-ago or handicap raco. First raco to start punctually at 12 o'clock.
