Tiger Tim and Nelson (tho latter with tho sweaters on neck and shoulders) wont twico round tho tan at threo-quarter pace. Wapiti, accompanied by Sou-wester, did similar work. Water King did half-paco work twice round the tan. H. Thompson gave Black Roso aud Alpino Roso a striding two-milo gallop on tho grass, last year's Derby winner going freely and well, and having a bit the bost of tho spin. Muinboom was taken ovor tho hurdles, but jumped badly; sho baulked at tho first flight and did not go straight at tho third after which sho was sent along at a brisk pace on tho tan. R. Ray gave Lepdogram strong work twico round tho same track. Lcoii did a milo at top speed, Milno sending Rocket to keop him company, when both went satisfactorily, Rocket having rather tho best of it. Ravensworth and Mirlila sweated twice round tho tan, and Conundrum and Fusilado (the latter with tho rugs on tho neck and shoulders) covered tho samo distauco at a good half-paco. Mr G. G. Stead's Cup • horse Loehiel did steady work twico round tho grass. P. Butlor gave Tim Whifller and Talebearer a milo at top speed, tho latter moving iv good stylo. Artillery and Tit Bit went once round tho grass, spurting tho first and last three furlongs. Fusilier did fast work onco round tho tan. Charmer, on the samo track, did steady exercise of ovor two and a-half miles. Chnafo gave Bonny Blink a gentlo milo canter, and then sent her a milo and three-quarters at a brisk paco. Patrician did a strong milo und a-half spin, and Bolton sent Minerva two miles and a-half strong. O'Connor gavo Hormitago and Tasman (tho latter in tho sweaters) two miles on tho tan. S. Waddcll sent Captain Webster mid Tniron twico round tho grass at a good half-pace. Red Rosa filly spurted half-a-milo.

Captain Webster is now a firm favorite for the Cup. He is lookiug very well, and goes in good stylo.
