Jacob Faithful, in thanking his patrons for the generous support accorded to him, assures them that his most sanguine expectations never realised so great a success, taking into consideration that very few shares (this being a country race meeting, as yet littio known out of Hawko's Bay), were disposed of away from the Province. Jflcob Faithful fully anticipates filling hie next Consultation on the Hawkc's Bay Steeplechase, and in order not to disappoint tho public, begs to inform them that all tickets applied for over the number advertised will be increased accordingly pro rain.
