THE attention of Burgesses of the Borough of Napier is particularly called to the clauses of The Municipal Corporations Act, 187G, which provide that every DEFAULTER'S name Must to Omitted from the Burgess List. No " Defaulter's " name therefore can be placed upon tho Burgess Roll, and not being thereon ho cannot vote at any election, nor is ho capable of being elected a Councillor, &c, &c. By Order M. N. IVTOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Municipal Council, held in tho Council Chamber, Napier, on WEDNESDAY, the Ist April inst., it was resolved:— " That it be a Special Order of this Council that Bye-law No. 9 of the Council of the Borough of Napier, intituled ' A Bye-law fixing the cost of Footways, &c.,' and made under the provisions of ' The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876,' be hereby repealed." Notice is further given that a Special Meeting of the Council will be held in the Council Chamber, Napier, on WEDNESDAY, tho 6th day of May next, immediately after the Ordinary Meeting of tho Council, for the purpose of confirming the above resolution.
