November 19_Go-Ahcad, s.s., for Wellington and the coasts : 19—Sir Donald, s.s., for Blackhead.
The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Capt." Hutchison, arrived in the roadstead yesterday afternoon, and was berthed inside shortly after 3 p.m. The following is the report of her passage, kindly furnished by Mr Waldie, her purser : —Left Dunedin 12.30. p.m.,on the loth inst. ; breasted Akaroa 7.30 a.m. on the 16th; passed Kaikoura 10.30 p.m. same date,' and arrived at Wellington at 8 a.m. on 18th ; sailed again at 4 p.m., and passed Cape' Palliser'at 7.30 p.m. same date; passed Cape Turnagain at 6.50 a.m. on the 19th ; rounded the Kidnappers at 1.10 p.m., ■and arrived in the roads at 2.45 p.m. same date. Experienced light airs and southerly swell to Bank's Peninsula, fresh head, ■winds and swell to Kaikoura, hard northerly, gale and heavy seas to Wellington, thence light northerly winds to Caatlepoint, and light southerly winds and smooth sea to arrival.' She was advertised to steam from the wharf for Gisborne and Auckland at 3 p.m. this day. The steamer Weka, Captain John Campbell, returned from southern coastal stations about four o'clock yesterday afternoon, .with over 200 bales of wool for transhipment to the ship Wanjranui. The s.s. Go A-hoad, Captain Plumlcy, took her departure for Wellington and the coast at 3.45 p.m. yesterday. The steamer Wairoa, Captain H. Anderson, arrived back from Wairoa at 10.30 p.m. last night, with 80 bales of wool and skins, and a number of passengers. She will be leaving again for the same destination at 12 o'clock to morrow night. The s.s. Sir Donald, Captain J. Quiulan, steamed for Blackhead Inst night for another load of wool. j The launch Bella, W. Green master, reached port from Mohaka at 11 o'clock last night, bringing G4 packages of wool. The steamer Kiwi, Captain Jarncs Campbell, is making an intermediate trip to the coast for wool, and will not be leaving Wellington until Monday next for the coast and Napier. _ • ' The Union Company's steamer Waihora, Captain Edie, was to have left Auckland for southern cast coast ports atnoori to-day, being due hero at daylight _on Saturday morning. ; :" ■ Br Electoio Telegbaph.—Copyright.
