WORKING TRADES AND ART EXHIBITION. COMMENCING SATURDAY NEXT, NOVEMBER 22nd, at 7.30 p.m. ■npHE Exhibition is intended to giro a JL practical working illustration of the trades of the colony, the following', among others, having been promised to bo shown at work in the Hall:--Glass Blowing, Soap Making, Wire Working, Wood Carving, Lolly Making, Basket ""Making, Printing, Turning, Cabinet Making and Joinery, Coffee Roasting, Yankee Carpet Making, Boot : Making, Tinsmith's Work, Sail Making, Budding and Grafting, &c, &c;, &c. There will also be exhibits of Manufactured Articles, Implements, Mechanical Appliances, Working Model Engines, Curios, Works of Art, &c. In a side room will be shown an Illuminated Grotto and Fernery, with Water-wheel in motion. The Exhibition will open on the evenings of SATURDAY, MONDAY, and TUESDAY NEXT. ADMISSION—Iβ. N.B. —Tradesmen, Storekeepers, and others who have not already had space allotted should apply at once to J.S., Box 12G, Post-office, Napier. ■ST. MARK'S CHURCH, OLIVE! IT is intended to hold a Sale of Work the second weok in December in aid of, funds to enlarge St. Mark's Church. Contributions of useful and Fancy Articles, Plants, Flowers, &c, will be thankfully received by Mrs Bennett, Mrs Ellery, Mrs Glazcbrook, Mrs Pritchard, Misses Ward and Merritt. A Gift Auction will be held on the same date. Stock, &c., will be thankfully received by Mr Merritt and other Members of the Committee.
