; Wellington, This day. • The Appeal Court was occupied all today in hearing argument in the case of the Otago Land Board and William -Higg ins the former being the" appellants and the latter the respondent. ■ The question which their Honors are asked to decide is whether the Land Acts of 1383 and 183 i are retrospective in their operation.
