CABINET MEETINGS.
"Wellington, This day.
The Government have been very busy since the Session closed. Lengthened Cabinet meetings have been held daily. Amongst other important subjects dealt with the Greymouth and Wcstport Harbors Acts: hare received prolonged attention. The ap- : pointments to the Boards will be gazetted in a very few days. Each Bonrd will be a local one andthe Government will stipulate for the appointment of an engineer in whom its has thorough confidence.
