The Conference of representatives of the Powers, to'discuss affairs in connection with the trade and navigation of the Congo and Niger rivers, commenced their sittings yesterday. Delogatcs of all tho European Powers were assembled

Sir Edward Mulct, British Ambassador, a delegate to the Conference, has announced that England reserves its rights in regard to the Niger.
