A. meeting- o£ members of the Clarendon Club will be held to-morrow evening. Messrs Monteith and Co.'s usual fortnightly stock sale is postponed till the 2Sth instant. Mr Well wood inserts a list of sheep ho has for sale. 'Messrs Davis and Ruston invite tenders for filling in a'section in Carlyle-street. Mr G" Rymer has a house to let on the Beach road. Mr R. Wellwood, stock and station agent, Hastings, has now completed extensive sheep yards, and can offer special facilities for sheep consigned for sale. Mr R. Haliburton has for salo 120 Merino rams. Robert Benjamin McCartie has been adjudged a bankrupt. A. meeting of creditors will"be held on the 24th instant. Messrs Blythe and Co. are_ showing another job in hand crotchet antimacassers this day. Mrs Chissell wants a femalo cook for a country hotel. Mrs Cohan has received another parcel of post boy hats, gloves, aprons, etc. Mr N. O'Neill, watchmaker and jeweller, notifies that he has purchased from Mr V.
