The quarterly meeting of members of the Clarendon Club will be held to-night.
Members of the Napier Rowing Club hold their annual meeting at the Criterion Hotel at S o'clock to-night. Mr Lyndon will dispose of the unsold portion of the late J. M. Girdlestono's and a quantity of other goods by auction at his mart at 11 a.m. to-morrow. Entries for tho poultry show close at 4 p.m. to-morrow with the secretary, Mr. H. Lascelles. Messrs Monteith and Co. hold their weekly stock and produce sale at the Horse Bazaar on Saturday as usual. Mr Margoliouth holds his regular weekly auction sale at the City mart on Saturday. Tbe Deputy Assignee adjudges T. S. An. Drews a bankrupt, and summons a meeting of the creditors'for Thursday next. Mr M. R. Miller culls the attention of investors in tlie Mount Erinjf estate to the re-arrangement of the sub-diidsions under which the property will be offered for sale. The first show of prints, cambrics, and
ginghams for the spring season is uoav on at the Bon Marche. Mr Robert Holt has a good supply of house blocks, straining posts, and sawn palings at his Port Ahuriri sawmill. An alteration is made in the advertisement of Mr W. Harker's properties for salo. Messrs Blythe and Co. are offering a job line of fancy dress and bone buttons at their clearing sale. Messrs Ruddock and Fryer are now selling the best knife cleaning machines at 25s each. Persons are requested to try Walters' celebrated guinea trousers and four guinea suits ; strong and solid workmanship ; made by the best tailors in town ; great variety of tweed.
