REPORT OF MEAT EXPORT COMPANY.
Wellington, This day. The report of the Wellington Meat Export Company shows that the net profits for the year were £1514 0s 9d, after writing off £15GGsDd (the balance of the preliminary expenses). The remainder will be curried forward. The principal cause which prevented profits was the . heavy storage expences incurred on tho'meat intended tor the Triumph. Tho directors could not recommend a dividend on account of anticipated losses on the ventures by the Runpelm and Florida.
