Volunteer recruits parade for squad drill at the orderly room at 7.30 to-night. Tho annual'meeting of the Napier Musical Society is convened for Wednesday evening in tho district school. Poison will be laid on the Rivcrslea and Endsleigh paddocks from this date. A small ledger has been lost, and finder will be rewarded on returning same to Messrs Ncal and Close. The Meanec Road Board invito tenders for erecting a bridge in Tannery road, and for providing material for same. The finder of two pieces of music, lost in Clive Square, will kindly leave same at office of this puper. Messrs Lucas and Humphreys, of the steam joinery works, Wellcslcy road, execute every description of joinery work at low rates. Mr Cooper, architect, invites tenders for the erection of a villa residence on the Fitzgerald estate. Mr Chisscll has received smoked fish, fresh oysters, and fruit. Messrs Ruddock and Fryer have just landed 24 single furrow Howard and Homsby ploughs, which they are selling cheap. Persons are requested to try Walters' celebrated guinea trousers and four guinea suits ; strong and solid workmanship ; made by the best tailors in town ; great variety of tweed.
