MELBOURNE
This day. General Mclver, who some time back endeavored to organise in England an expedition to New Guinea, is iioav in Melbourne, and offers to carry out the project on behalf of the Australian Governments. He had an interview on Saturday with Mr Service, but the Premier declined the General's proposals.
