The regular monthly meeting of the Victoria Lodge of Freemasons will be held on Thursday evening. The commanding , ofticer of the Rifle Volunteers will be in attendance at the orderly room on Friday evening for the enrolment of now members. Tickets for the fireworks exhibition can be procured at several shops in town, so as to avoid the crush at the gates. Mr John Orr, Tort Ahuriri, has eating potatoes and feed oats for sale, and has a variety of seeds on hand.
