December s—Sir Donald, s.s., for Tougoio
Thcp.s. Manaifi, Capt. Baxter, returned from Wniroa at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, bringing some passengers and a cargo of wool and maize. She will probably be leaving again for the same dostina'ion to-morrow night. The s.s. Sir Donald, Captain Quinlan, steamed down to Tougoio this morning for another load of wool.
The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, from Auckland, was expected to hnvo left Gisborne this evening, and should bo in the harbor by to-morrow morning. She will discharge her cargo of general goods and sheep inside, and at 5 p.m. tomorrow is announced to steam from tho •wharf for Wellington.
The steamer Kiwi, Ctipt. Jame.s Campbell, from Wellington and the coast, arrived here at about 7 o'clock this morning, and •was berthed inside fit the breastwork a a little latter. She brought a large cargo, including , transhipment goods out of the steamer lonic and ship Orari from London, which was discharged during tho day. The Kiwi was to get away for Wellington via the coast utG p.m. this day. The s.s. Maori, Capfc Anderson, got back again from AVuiroa hist night, with a load of -wool, which sho transhipped to tho Wave Queen this morning She will be leaving again at; about 1 L o'clock b>-night. As tliu schooner Columbia was being taken outside this morning on rlu fir.st of the ebb tide, she got blown on to the boulder bank opposite the life-boat shed, and Millionth prompt rnea-uros wave taken to gee her off, it is expected th it .-he will have to remain there until the tile rises again.
