INQUEST ON SUICIDE.

J Dunedin, This day. At the inquest held on the body of Young yesterday, a verdict was returned to the effect that the deceased committed suicide while insane. The deed Avas evidently premeditated. Tho deceased left a letter explaining about the owner of some articles of jewellery left in his (deceased's) shop for repair. Young- also wrote this letter, addressed lo a reporter, "Done the deed myself, all through lovo. Blame my friends for the deed, all their fault. Promised mo their daughter's hand, and withdreAv consent. Cannot live Avithout her. Let all Avho value true love shun them. Have been my curse all through life." Tho jury added to their verdict that no blame Avas attachable to Mr Cunningham.
