A public temperance meeting will be hold in the Good Templar lodge-room, Port Ahuriri, at 7.30 this evening. Tuke. Mr Lyndon holds an auction sale of boots, ale, groceries, furniture, preserved fruits, and other goods at his mart on Monday. Claims against the barqne AVave Queen relating to inward cargo must be sent to Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. by Monday. Mr Lyndon's monthly land sale will be held on AVednesday next, when properties in Napier, Hastings, and Arlington will be submitted to competition. Twenty per cent, will be saved by purchasing dresses and millinery at Messrs Ma gill and Campbell's, Emerson street; prices are quoted, and millinery is trimmed free of charge.

New goods arc now being shown at the Cheap Drapery Shop, and Mr Robinson invites comparison for quality and price with any house in the trade.
