The Union Company's steamer Ringarooma, Captain Carey, from Melbourne, Hobiirfc, and the South, arrived in the hay shortly before 1 o'clock on Saturday, and was at once tendered for mails, passengers, and cargo in the usual manner. The following is a report of her passage:— Left Melbourne on the 18th nil-., failed at Hobiirfc on the ''Oth, Bluff tho 21th, Port Chalmers the 25th, Lyttelt'.m the '27th, Wellington the '2Sth ult., taking her depar(ure J from the latter port on the same day at S p.m. Hart light easterly winds from Bluff to Lytfceltou, from Lyttelton to Wellington moderate and fresh N.W. winds, and from tlience had fresh N.W. winds and rain. The outward passengers for Sydney and tho North were taken off at 4 p.m./the Eingarooma steaming on her course at S p.m. the same day. The three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Capt. Charles Balle, dropped anchor in the bay at about noon on Saturday from Newcastle, New South Wales, with a cargo of coal for her owner, Mr J. H. Vautier. .She will bo lightered in the bay to-morrow of her cargo by the steamer Sir Donald, and will afterwards be brought inside and discharge tho balance at the breastwork. The Union Company's steamer Waihora., Capt. Edie, from Auckland and Poverty Bay, arrived here at an cwly hour yesterday morning, and was tendered in the bay as usual for mails, passengers, and cargo. The Waihora steamed on her way for Melbourne and Southern ports at noon, and is telegraphed as having arrived in Wellington at 10. 'iii a.m. this day. The steamer Go- Ahead, Captain Plnmlcy, arrived here at 7 o'clock this morning from Wellington, and was berthed inside at the breastwork shortly afterwards. She brings a full cargo, consisting almost entirely of transhipments goods out of the steamship Doric from London, which was discharged during the day. Tho Go-Ahead was announced to steam for Wellington at 5 p.m. this day. Tho Union Company's steamer Suva, Captain llufcliins, steamed from I lie wharf for Taurauga and Auckland at about: 0 o'clock yesterday morning. Tho steamer Kiwi, Capt. James Campbell, was to have left Wellington at f) p.m. this day, and should arrive here by Wednesday morning. The p.s. Manaia's departure for Wniroa has had to bo postponed, as there is a heavy sea reported to be running on the bar at that place. The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Capt. Ross, is"to leave Wellington this evening, and is due here on Wednesday morning, being advertised to steam for Gisborne arid Auckland at 2.:J0 p.m. on 'Wednesday.
