FIRM TONE AT THE WOOL SALES. ULSTER ORANGEMEN MASSING TO PREVENT MEETINGS OF IRISH NATIONAL LEAGUE. TENDERS INVITED FOR MELBOURNE MUNICIPAL LOAN. APPROACHING VISIT OF KING OF SPAIN TO PARIS. LONDON. September 20. The homeward mails via San Fraucisco, which left Auckland on August 14, were
delivered to-day. The mails from Melbourne, dated August 11, via Suez, were also delivered to-day. At to-day's wool auction the catalogue comprised 9-100 bales. The tone of the sale was linn. September 2/. The Ulster Orangemen are massing in large numbers at "Dungaiinon, County Tyrone, with the avowed intention of proventing the meetings which the followers of Mr Paruell propose to hold there. It is feared r.olli.sions will take place between the two factions, and a strong force of military lias been quartered in the town in case a riot should occur. Tenders were invited to-day for £200,000 of Melbourne Municipal debentures. Tho minimum is fixed at par, and the rate of interest to be allowed is \\ per cent.
