PURCHASERS PROTEST AGAINST FINDING OF "DUMMYISM" COMMITTEE.
Dunedin, This day. At the Land Board to-day Pearsoll and Young, applicants for Strath Taicre sections, writing from Tasmania, protest against the finding of the Dummyism Committee, maintaining that the land they purchased was for their own use and benefit. They ask tho Board to issue licenses to them, and state their willingness to pay the rent.
