The steamer Khvi, Capt. James Campbell, got aAvay for AVcllington at 5 o'clock last night, taking ono passenger and a good cargo. She will be calling on the coast en
route. The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Captain Allman, from AVellington, arrived at tho anchorage at I o'clock Ibis morning, and Avas berthed inside at tho breastAvork at 7 a.m. Her cargo, consisting of about 100 tons of general and transhipment goods out of tho steamer Catalonia, was discharged during the day, and at b o'clock this evening tin- Cross is to steam for Gisborno and Auekbmd.
The steamer Fairy, Captain John Campbell, is loading up for Wairoa to-day, and is to get aAvay at 10 o'clock to-night.
(By Cable.) Melbourne, Tuesday. Sailed, this afternoon, Union steamship Tc Anau for the Bluff.
The Merchant Shipping and Underwriters' Association report that the ship Northumberland, which sailed from Melbourne on March 3rd for London, and has been long overdue, has arrived at St. Helena, 136 days out.
